Computer Scientist in the NHS
MSc Research Student in Computer Science
A mixed bag of Computer Science, IT & Software Engineering.
I am a Computer Scientist and Engineer (Clinical Technologist) working at the intersection of Computer Science, Information Technology and Healthcare in the Medical Physics Department at James Cook University Hospital.
Alongside this I am a MSc (Research) Computer Science student at the University of York in the HCI research group. My supervisor is Dr Paul Cairns. My thesis explores the factors which influence usability in medical infrastructure software.
I studied my undergrad BSc (Hons) Computer Science & Networks at Teesside University.
I am currently researching Human Computer Interaction. I am interested in Computer Vision and other computer science research areas. My next step is to study a PhD. If you are interested at collaborating at the intersection of computer science and healthcare / medicine, please email me.
